Mr. Michael “Mike” Ray Orsburn, age 70 of Smiths Grove, Kentucky and formerly of Checotah, Oklahoma, passed away on Tuesday, March 12th at Hospice of Southern Kentucky after a battle with cancer.
Michael was born December 28, 1953 in Holdenville, Oklahoma, the son of the late Rev. Fred Orsburn and Lois Trammel Orsburn.
He attended Bowling Green Praise and Worship Church. He loved his family and enjoyed traveling, fishing and watching Nascar.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth and Stevie Orsburn and two sisters, Shirley Watson and Lana Iverson. He is survived by is wife, Patricia Cline Orsburn of Smiths Grove, Kentucky; four sons, Chad Orsburn (Angie), Daryl Orsburn (Valerie), Brian Orsburn (Toni) and a stepson, James Walters (Connie); two daughters, Marsha Bartley (Craig) and a stepdaughter, Jennifer Chappell (Keith); three sisters, Barbara Van Alstine, Sharon Whitlock and Vicki Woods (Johnny); seven grandchildren, ten step grandchildren and seventeen step great grandchildren.
Michael chose to be cremated and have no services.
